Yeast Infection Men
Yeast infection not only affects the women, men are also not spared from this condition. Yeast infection men is not something abnormal or even rare. In fact roughly 20% of yeast infection sufferers are men. Of course women forms the largest group of people with yeast infection, making up to 60% of yeast infection sufferers.
Basically yeast infection happens as a results of candida yeast overgrowth. Candida lives naturally in yeast from mainly in our intestines. This is perfectly normal and does not lead to any health complication. Problem occurs when candida yeasts are allowed to grow out of control. It is important to understand what can cause candida yeasts to overgrow if we want to prevent yeast infection from occurring. The cause of candida yeast overgrowth is a controversial subject to medical practitioners. As much as medical practitioners does not like to admit, frequent and prolonged use of antibiotics has been identified as one of the leading cause. In general, people with weak immune system (which commonly happens following antibiotic treatment) are susceptible to candida yeast overgrowth. It is important for yeast infection men to avoid intake of antibiotics unless absolutely necessary.
Antibiotics and drugs also kill bacteria in our gut responsible in keeping candida yeast growth in check. Once population of these bacterias decreases out of balance, candida yeasts quickly multiplies and fills the area vacated by the dead bacterias, putting down roots into intestine walls. Candida yeasts overgrowth will lead to candida decomposing cell membranes of intestinal walls. Once intestinal walls are damaged toxin can enter the bloodstreams and yeast infections can spread throughout the body.
Yeast infection can be mistaken for other health complications, therefore potentially leads to unsuitable treatment especially when sufferers attempt to self diagnose. How can we identify symptoms of yeast infection then? Normally people with yeast infection suffers from several symptoms at the same time. Some sufferer only develops symptoms in their gut. These people usually experienced bloatedness, flatulence, itchy anus, even diarrhea or constipation. At this stage the yeast infections are contained in the gut area only.
Leaky gut syndrome occurs when intestinal walls are damaged and toxins enter the bloodstream. Symptoms such as food allergies and intolerance, migraines, foggy brain and muscles aches are likely to be evident. Once candida spread through the body, some of the symptoms to be expected are thrush, cystitis, PMS, menstrual irregularities, hay fever, joint pains, asthma, ear infections, fungal infections of the nails/skin e.g. athlete’s foot, sinusitis, weight gain or weight loss, allergies, chronic tiredness and sensitivity to perfume, tobacco smoke and petrol.
It is important for yeast infection to be arrested. As we have seen, conventional medicinal drugs might not be the best solution. Certainly most of them do not offer permanent cure. Natural yeast infection remedy is by far the best route to take for holistic and permanent cure.
